✨This is what the Devil has managed to do: he has turned the world into a labyrinth, so that we can no longer truly understand one another.
✨What has happened to us without our realizing it? Do you see how deceived we have been? We have turned our world and our own age into a great asylum — and yet we cannot even understand what is wrong with us.
✨We all wonder: “What have we become? Where are we heading? Why have our children taken to the streets? Why have they left their homes? Why have they abandoned life itself, their education, their future? Why is this happening?”
✨The Devil has succeeded in hiding his presence, persuading people to give him other names.
✨Doctors and psychologists, when someone suffers, often say: “Ah, you have neurosis! Ah, you have anxiety!” and the like. They do not admit that it is the Devil who provokes and stirs up pride within the human heart.
✨And yet, the Devil exists. He is the spirit of evil. To deny his existence is to deny the very Gospel that speaks of him. He is our enemy, the adversary of our souls, the one opposed to Christ — and he is called the Antichrist.
✨Christ came into the world to free us from the Devil and to grant us salvation.
✨The conclusion is clear: we must teach our children to live humbly and simply, without seeking praise or applause. We must show them that humility is real, and that humility is the health of life.
✨The spirit of today’s society harms our children. It follows another psychology, another pedagogy — one meant for the children of unbelievers. Such a spirit leads only to lawlessness.
✨And we see the results in the lives of our children and young people. Today the youth cry out: “You must understand us!”
But we must not surrender to them. Rather, we must pray for them, speak the truth, live it, proclaim it — without ever conforming ourselves to their spirit.
✨We must never destroy the greatness of our Faith. To truly help them does not mean adopting their mindset.
✨We must remain who we are — witnesses to the truth and bearers of the light.
✨It is from the Holy Fathers that children will learn. The Fathers’ teaching will instruct them about confession, about passions, about vices, about how the Saints conquered their fallen selves.
And we will pray that God Himself may dwell within them.✨
