I WAS AN EX-MEDIUM AND BACK TO Christ

Reiki – what is it? You should practice it, especially as a Christian.

I was a medium in the New Age for 25 years.

Reiki was introduced to me in a divination class.

Before this, it was also known as energy work or energy healing.

The leader of my divination group was a Reiki Master.

I share this not to attack anyone, but out of love,

because I don’t want you to open the door to demonic oppression.

In my second book on the New Age and the Truth,

I included a section on Reiki, along with yoga and other practices.

“Reiki” means mysterious atmosphere or miraculous sign.

It comes from the Japanese words Rei (Universal) and Ki (Life Force).

Supporters say Reiki works with energy fields around the body,

transferring universal energy from the practitioner’s hands to the client.

It is considered a type of energy healing.

Reiki practitioners believe energy flow can bring relaxation and pain relief,

but there is no scientific proof.

I spoke with Doreen Virtue, who was a Reiki Master before coming to Christ.

She said that Reiki feels real and powerful,

and many anecdotes describe healing experiences,

but to become a Reiki Master, one must be attuned by another Master.

This attunement involves symbols channeled by Mikao Usui, a Japanese shaman from the 1920s.

These symbols are unsettling to me personally, and their practice includes memorization and ritual.

Reiki can even be done remotely.

Reiki has nothing to do with Christianity.

Anyone claiming Jesus did Reiki is committing blasphemy.

Jesus does not need symbols to heal.

The Bible shows that Jesus was there from the beginning.

He heals and restores spiritually.

Reiki, with its meditation and chakra practices, is rooted in false doctrines.

The Bible teaches that Jesus heals us through His sacrifice,

not through energy symbols.

Through Him, we are spiritually healed and can one day be with God in heaven.

I share this to expose the emptiness of these New Age practices.

Walk in Christ’s victory. Be freed from these practices

and experience eternal glory with our Lord Jesus.
