Jesus Christ is orthodox

Jesus Christ is Orthodox — The Miracle of the Holy Fire

Every year in Jerusalem, on Holy Saturday, something happens that cannot be explained by science or human hands. Inside the very tomb where our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead, the Holy Fire (Greek: Ἅγιον Φῶς) miraculously appears.

Only the Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem is allowed to enter the tomb. He is thoroughly searched by civil authorities to ensure he carries no matches, lighters, or any means of making fire. After heartfelt prayer in the sealed tomb, a mysterious light descends and ignites his candles. He then emerges and shares this uncreated light with the faithful, who carry it throughout the Orthodox world.

This miracle has occurred every single year for more than a thousand years. Even Muslim rulers of Jerusalem once testified that it was real. Catholics, Armenians, Protestants, and others are present, yet the Holy Fire descends only for the Orthodox Patriarch.

Why?

Because the miracle is God’s own testimony. Christ Himself shows where His true Church is. The Holy Fire is not a spectacle; it is a divine confirmation that:

✨ Jesus Christ is Orthodox.

The Orthodox Church is not merely one Christian denomination among many. It is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, the living Body of Christ on earth.

And each Pascha, in Jerusalem, the Lord makes it clear — His light shines in Orthodoxy
