In Greek the word "I exist"
is written I exist, etymologically it consists of two words: under- below, under something and the words archon- I start, I have a beginning. It also means being under someone's control or it means something that is under something, that depends on something.
God does not exist, because there is no principle, nor is it subject to conditions, nor is it under one's authority, but God is simply "IS", and only God "IS", everything else depends on God, and there are only because GOD IS. That is why God says to himself: “I AM. I AM THE ONE THAT IS.
Yes, well, I would say that, rather then simple faith, it would be interesting to find some logical basis to demonstrate the existence of God.
