We are ultimately made of dust,

 

We are ultimately made of dust, the Bible tells us. God created

Man from the dust of the earth. Dust. Nothing great, nothing expensive. And yet

God touched this dust with his own hands. Science says the same without

Knowing it. Our body has the same elements that the earth has. Carbon,

oxygen, calcium, water, and iron. We are truly creatures of the earth. But

God did not stop there. He bent over the dust and breathed into it the spirit.

Of life. He put something within us that cannot be measured, cannot be analyzed, and cannot die.

The soul. And so man became the most wonderful creation. Dust that

Breathes heaven, body, and spirit together. A dust that can love,

create, pray. Perhaps that is why our hearts are not at peace anywhere.

Except near the creator. Because one part of us is soil, but the other

Part is God.
